Citizenship and Immigration Canada has introduced a new simplified application process for federal skilled workers and business immigrants (Beginning September 1, 2006)

Proof of Funds

You must prove that you have enough money to support yourself and your dependants for at least six months after you arrive in Canada. The Government of Canada does not provide financial support to new skilled worker immigrants.
